Controller CapabilitiesThe MX Series uses a sophisticated digital signal processor based arbitrary waveform generator and power analyzer. This integrated, multi instrument approach, effectively eliminates the need for additional equipment to create an complete AC and DC power test system. Using a large graphical LCD display, the advanced measurement and analysis capabilities can be accessed directly from the front panel without the need for remote control. For ATE applications, both IEEE-488 and RS232C interfaces are included and Windows™ Graphical User Interface application software comes with each MX unit.Flexible ConfigurationsConfiguration options include both single and multiple unit systems for a wide range of power levels. The MX45-3Pi offers both single and three phase output capability at a power level of 45 kVA. Multiple MX45 chassis can be combined to provide higher power levels for three phase applications.Applications The extended output frequency range of 16 Hz to 819 Hz makes the MX Series suitable for both commercial and avionics applications. Dual voltage ranges (3Pi models or -R option) provide maximum output current at 80 % of voltage range and constant power from 80 to 100 % of V range. The built in measurement and analysis functions eliminate the need for additional test equipment.
